Course Registration

Complete the following steps to sign up for any full-length classes with YTI. This includes any classes taken for credit in the M.A., Certificate, or Diploma programs, as well as any courses that are audited. Online Registration

  • Review the class schedule and select your course(s). See class schedules for all locations here.

  • Complete the Course Registration Form and submit it to the YTI office. (See below for form submission options.) This is a PDF form that you can fill out on your computer, save, and submit via email. You may also print the form and complete it by hand, then either scan and send via email or submit via regular mail.

  • Include a $50 per course registration fee. (See below for payment options.)

  • The remainder of your course tuition is due by the first day of class. For a 2-credit course taken for credit in an M.A. or Certificate program, this will be $600 per course. For any 2-credit course taken for the Diploma program, or for any classes audited, the balance of the tuition will be $50 per course. (See below for payment options.)

  • Please refer to this website for registration deadlines for each course. Deadlines are generally four to six weeks before the start of each class. In some cases, it may be possible to register for a class after the deadline. Call the YTI office at (406) 404-1600 if you would like to take a class for which the registration deadline has passed.

  • Purchase any textbooks required for each course. After registering, you will be notified about what books are needed and will be responsible for purchasing your own books. Contact the YTI office if you need assistance with textbook purchases. Please note the cost of textbooks is not included in the cost of the course.

  • Submit your completed forms to the YTI office. (See below for form submission options.)
