This August, YTI welcomes Molly Wilmington as our new Chief Administrator for Academic Affairs and Student Records. Molly brings to YTI a combined 22 years of higher education experience with 12 years specifically assisting faculty and students. For the last three years, she assisted the dean and faculty at Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary. Molly earned a B.A. in English from Baylor and served as a youth pastor for two years while in Waco. After that, she studied for ministry at Duke University Divinity School and interned as a student associate pastor in two North Carolina churches. In 2011, she attended the University of Notre Dame’s Vita Institute through the Center for Ethics and Culture.
Over the years, Molly has volunteered primarily with children and their parents serving as soccer and basketball coach, as a teacher in various church roles, and as a pregnancy care volunteer and organizer. Next fall, Paraclete Press will publish her children’s book on the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer as narrated by a German Shepherd named Mr. Wolf.
Her husband, David Wilmington, joined the YTI faculty in July as Professor of Theology and Philosophy. They have two children, Luke (13) and Anna Grace (9), who will be attending Petra Academy in Bozeman this fall.
