We welcome Kurt Caddy to Bozeman and YTI as our artist-in-residence July 7–26! He will be helping our summer session students explore firsthand the intersection of faith and the arts. Kurt will facilitate experience with the arts at two Saturday art workshops and present three Sunday lectures on art and biblical themes. DOWNLOAD FLYER
As the Director of University Ministries at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO, Kurt provides dynamic, meaningful spiritual growth opportunities for students. Kurt’s art connects with people at a deep emotional and spiritual level. He encourages and challenges the viewer to engage with hope, sorrow, brokenness, peace, sacrifice, grace, and other divine mysteries and wonders.
Deeply moved and inspired by Native American cultures and perspectives, Kurt has served among the Inuit, Tlingit, Navajo, and Lakota peoples. His art has raised funds to benefit teen suicide prevention on Lakota reservations.

Join us for art workshops
Join our artist-in-residence for an immersion in the arts this summer! An accomplished painter, sculptor, photographer, and illustrator, Kurt Caddy will be offering two art workshops. These workshops are open to all ages, with the only cost being a $20 art supply fee.
Free arts presentations
Kurt Caddy will present three lectures on art and biblical themes on Sunday evenings at 7pm at Yellowstone Theological Institute. These presentations are free and open to the community.
