Yellowstone Dance Project – Adult Class

Join us for an open adult dance class, directed by Emily Gotschall and David Ward. Sessions will be held from 6–7:15 p.m. July 8, 9, & 10 (Monday-Wednesday) and July 15, 16, & 17 (Monday-Wednesday) at 2030 Stadium Drive in Bozeman.

Our Directors

Emily Gotschall has devoted over three decades of her life to the art of dance. Recently having retired from her career performing as a soloist and principal dancer with Dayton Ballet and for 13 years with BalletMet, she now teaches full time in the Ohio area, around the US and in the UK. Emily was fortunate to work with many of the great choreographers of our time and performed leading roles in Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Dangerous Liasons, Peter Pan and numerous neoclassical and contemporary works. She finds great fulfillment now sharing her knowledge with students and helping them on their training journey with positive and encouraging energy in the studio and beyond. She looks forward to working with the dancers of the Bozeman community this summer in the first Yellowstone Dance Project!

Former leading dancer with BalletMet where he spent seven years, David Ward trained at the English National Ballet School and spent five years dancing with Northern Ballet in Leeds, England. For the past two seasons, David has joined companies performing lead roles across the USA as a freelance artist. Mr. Ward’s career highlights include touring across mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Thailand, as well as dancing for Prince Edward and performing in the International Ballet Stars Gala in Indianapolis, IN. David has established himself as a master teacher and has taught across the US and England and been guest faculty at numerous dance Intensives including Balletmet, Baller Matters, Missy Crain school of Dance, Appalachian Ballet School, New Albany Ballet, and others. He is very much looking forward to serving as co artistic director of Yellowstone Dance Project and working with the young artists of Bozeman.
