In this course, students will learn the basics of biblical, theological, and cultural interpretation. This course is basic for the Master of Arts degree.

May be taken as BIB 530 for 3 credits in YTI’s Master of Arts in Theological Studies and Diploma of Christian Theology programs, or audited for personal enrichment.

Brett DesperBrett Desper (Ph.D. in process, George Fox University; M.Div., Regent College) is lecturer in discipleship and spirituality. Mr. Desper has taught in both the high school and college settings. Surrendering to ministry in the late 1990s, Brett was ordained in the Vineyard Movement in 2005. He is currently working on his Doctorate in Ministry.
