Discussing and Celebrating the Works of Tolkien, Lewis, and More
In the 1930s and ‘40s, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and others met in the local Oxford public house — “The Eagle and Child” — to read excerpts of their works to one another and then discuss them. They called this gathering, “The Inklings.” There are now “Inklings” groups all over the world—people who gather to read, discuss, and celebrate the accomplishments of these writers. Yellowstone Theological Institute is proud to sponsor the formation of the Bozeman Inklings group! Open to all MSU students, faculty, and interested community members.
The gathering meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month. We will not meet the fourth Thursday of November or December, 2019.
