How to Visit Big Sky Country
Bozeman, Montana may be hundreds of miles from big cities, but a growing economy, myriad recreational opportunities, and thriving outdoor tourism industry contribute to its easy access. The newly remodeled Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport partners with six different airlines, providing nonstop service to fifteen US cities.
Car rentals directly from the airport allow area visitors to travel on their own terms and schedule. Once in Bozeman, the free and efficient Streamline bus service provides regular stops along five routes within city limits. Additional buses make daily trips to the nearby communities of Big Sky and Livingston.
From Bozeman, visitors are half a day’s drive from the national parks of Glacier and Grand Teton, and just over an hour from Yellowstone. The Yellowstone Theological Institute campus is located on the south side of Bozeman, adjacent to the Montana State University campus – a short drive from the airport and within easy biking distance of downtown.
