Connect on a Deeper Level
No matter your background, at YTI you become part of the family. You will be instantly welcomed into our classes as you develop personal relationships with your peers, professors and yourself, all while pursuing a higher education through our diploma or master’s programs.
Interested in a Diploma Program?
As an international student applicant, part of your application for our diploma program is providing proof of English proficiency through TOEFL (iBT) or IELTS test scores (only one test score is required). A minimum iBT score is 95, while the IELTS score must be at least 7.
Ready to Earn Your Master’s Degree?
International students who apply for our master’s programs must have a bachelor’s degree—and a GPA of 3.0 from a foreign university or an accredited U.S. institution. In addition, proof of English proficiency is required and a TOELF test core of 95 or an IELTS score of 7. Information on testing centers near you can be found here or here.
What’s Next for International Students?
As part of your application to be an international student at the Yellowstone Theological Institute, you will need to obtain a U.S. visa (YTI is not currently federally accredited and cannot issue visa documents). Upon receiving your application, you can expect an email from YTI within 24 hours. If you apply and are accepted into one of our master’s programs, you will automatically be considered for a scholarship.
