Join us this summer for the Pick-Up Brass! Sessions are open to all high school and college brass students — please bring your instruments, stands, and an appetite. Two recitals are planned — with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks (June) and at the SLAM Festival (August).

Dr. Jay Smith is an accomplished composer and brass musician. He regularly writes music for the MSU band, and taught at the U.S. Naval Academy.
Location — ‘The Barn’
The Summer Pick-Up Brass will be held at the Yellowstone Center campus, located just off Huffine Lane at 83 Rowland Road.
Rehearsal and Recital Dates:
Bring your instrument and your own music stand to our rehearsals and recitals!
