ADV 5302 - A Theology of Adventure: Doing and Being
3 credits
ADV 5302 provides a theological base for Christian adventure. Drawing from sources as early as Plato and Aristotle, as well as more contemporary theologians, philosophers, psychologists, and anthropologists, ADV 5302 seeks to reconfigure the very idea of adventure from a daring, somewhat hazard-laden activity, to a way of being-in-the-world. Students will create their own theology of adventure with implications for ministry.
