BIB 6321

This course offers an in-depth study of the four canonical Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Students will examine the historical background, literary features, and distinctive theological messages of each Gospel, with special attention to the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Emphasis is placed on major interpretive issues, the relationship between the Synoptic Gospels, and the significance of the Gospels for Christian thought, life, and ministry.
