BIB 6324 - New Testament: The Book of Revelation

This course examines the Book of Revelation within the broader context of Jewish apocalyptic literature. Students will explore the historical setting, literary genre, and theological message of Revelation, while also studying selected Jewish apocalyptic texts from the Second Temple period. Special attention is given to major interpretive approaches, key themes such as judgment, hope, and the victory of God, and the book’s significance for Christian faith and ministry today.
