On Thursday, November 4, 2021, YTI held a press conference at its 2030 Stadium Dr. offices to announce the final stages of its capital campaign and its plan to begin building its permanent campus in 2022. The conference featured presentations by Dr. Jay Smith, President of YTI; Mr. Joe Billion, Board Member; and Ms. Laura Dornberger, lead architect. YTI has raised 85% of its campaign goal of $12.5 million dollars.
The first phase of the YTI campus project is an approximately 20,000 sq. ft. office, classroom, and public use space (including a stage for performing arts performances), with parking and unique landscaping.
The second phase will consist in a outdoor amphitheater for summer concerts and winter recreation. The third phase will be a recreation center with indoor tennis courts, a basketball court, a soccer field, and several acres of community gardens.
YTI is excited to announce our partnership with Bryan Klein and Providence Development for our lower 38.5 acre parcel, where he is building homes, townhomes, several apartment buildings, local commercial space, and several open area parks. This development will provide more meaningful housing for Bozeman residents and income for the endowment of YTI.
