Carol had watched her husband Charles, a solar physicist at Montana State University, and others present talks at the ASA’s annual meeting. She began to imagine herself presenting at a future meeting. Last July, she did just that.

In September, YTI’s Vern Streeter, Lecturer in Adventure and Theology, led a group of students on a kayaking trip deep in the the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park.
It’s easy to get caught up in the seasons, especially the fall, isn’t it? In all of this beauty and change, it is crucial that we not lose sight of our call: we are difference makers.
