BIB 7320 (Fall 2026) - Advanced Studies in the New Testament: Readings from the Greco-Roman World

This seminar examines key works of Greco-Roman literature from ~200 BC to ~AD 150 with special attention to their relevance for understanding the New Testament and early Christianity. Students will read primary texts in translation and analyze major cultural, philosophical, religious, and political currents in the Hellenistic and early Roman imperial periods.
