Scott Falkowski joins the YTI staff as our new Development Associate. He has served in a variety of ministry roles, including as lead and associate pastor, domestically-based international missionary, and Bible teacher for middle and high school. After a number of years serving in the Bay Area of Northern California in various church denominations, more recently Scott received a calling to Helena, Montana, where he and his wife, Annette, have lived since January 2020.
Scott is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree through Western Seminary, (Portland, OR), and his dissertation is being written as a resource for pastors and ministry leaders who struggle with depression and/or anxiety as it specifically relates to the ministry context. As someone who has struggled in this area, he feels called to encourage and support those who have similar struggles and experiences. Scott has also earned master of arts degrees in Biblical Theology and Specialized Ministry from Western Seminary, and a bachelor of arts in Christian Leadership from William Jessup University.
In addition to vocational church ministry, Scott works as a tour guide with Montana Historical Society and is a chaplain with the Montana Department of Justice.
Scott and Annette are native Californians and have been married for 36 years. They have two sons: Jaret and wife Danni, who live in Bozeman, and Bryce, who runs a young adult ministry in Boston, Mass.
We are grateful to welcome Scott to the YTI family!
